staying productive at work with newsfeed eradicator for chrome
Turn Off the Noise. Keep the Tools.
If you’re serious about focus, stop pretending you can ignore the feed.
News Feed Eradicator is a browser extension that eliminates the addictive, mindless scroll but still lets you use Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more for what they were actually designed for: communication, networking, and research.
It’s clean, subtle, and incredibly effective.
You’ll still be able to check messages, respond to DMs, join groups, or manage ads but without falling into the dopamine loop of viral garbage and soft propaganda.
I’ve used it for years. If you run a business, manage a brand, or work online, install it. It’s free, open-source, and takes 30 seconds.
Discipline is a system. This tool is part of mine.
👉 Search: “News Feed Eradicator”
👉 Install it on Chrome, Edge, or Brave

Your Team Doesn’t Need to Delete Social Apps Just Hide Them Smartly
Social platforms drain attention, even when they’re closed.
That passive pull notifications, visual triggers, habit loops is costing you and your team more than you realize. The fix isn’t deletion. It’s design.
Here’s how to reduce digital noise while keeping social apps available when needed, not impulsively used:
📱 For iPhone (iOS):
Long-press the app → Remove App → Remove from Home Screen
Go to Settings → Notifications → Disable alerts for each social app
Access them via App Library only when intentional
🤖 For Android:
Long-press the app → Remove from Home
Go to Settings → Notifications (or Apps & Notifications) → Mute social apps
They remain installed just no longer grabbing attention
Why this works:
Eliminates visual cues that trigger mindless scrolling
Encourages intentional use
Reduces cognitive clutter, improves focus, and lowers stress
Want to go further? Set time limits using Screen Time (iOS) or Digital Wellbeing (Android).
Protect your team’s attention. It’s your most limited and valuable resource.
